Mechanical Tie PN1FX
(with unique Shear Nut)
Description
The Lectros PN101FX double expansion remedial
wall ties are manufactured from corrosion
resistant Austenetic
304 Grade Stainless Steel tie bars
with Neoprene sleeves.
The Neoprene sleeves of this tie avoid point
loading and are remarkably
tolerant to both hole and host material
variations.
The ‘Quick-Fix’ tie
features a unique ‘tall-nut’ which when
turned with a setting tool, rotates the
whole tie bar, forcing the inner leaf Neoprene
sleeve to open and grip in the masonry.
The inner fix has now been created. At a
factory set torque level, the end of the
‘tall nut’ shears away and the remaining
nut is forced down the tie bar to expand
the Neoprene sleeve to grip the outer leaf.
The speed of fix of
the ‘Quick-Fix’ tie with a torque set electric
drill is probably the fastest tie currently
on the UK market.

Mechanical Tie PB1FX
(with unique Shear Nut)
Description
The Lectros PB101 FX double expansion remedial
wall ties are manufactured from corrosion
resistant Austenetic 304 Grade Stainless
Steel tie bars with Brass expanders. The
Brass expander is offered as an alternative
to stainless steel expanders due to the
malleable nature of Brass and the
improved grip of the masonry that
this tie affords. It is sometimes difficult
to obtain a good anchor with Stainless Steel
expanders in hard materials with a compressive
strength over 10N/mm².
The ‘Quick-Fix’ tie
features a unique ‘tall-nut’ which when
turned with a setting tool, rotates the
whole tie bar, forcing the inner leaf Neoprene
sleeve to open and grip in the masonry.
The inner fix has now been created. At a
factory set torque level, the end of the
‘tall nut’ shears away and the remaining
nut is forced down the tie bar to expand
the Neoprene sleeve to grip the outer leaf.
The speed of fix of
the ‘Quick-Fix’ tie with a torque set electric
drill is probably the fastest tie currently
on the UK market.

Resin Tie PRP
Description
The PRP is a 10mm diameter stainless
steel replacement wall tie, which can be
used in situations where
the quality of the inner and outer leaf
is in doubt. It has been designed
with the added advantage of being virtually
self-centring.
The PRP consists of a hollow polypropylene
tube containing exit slots for the resin
to be directed both inside and outside the
tube giving both a mechanical and adhesive
fix to the tie once the resin is applied.
A 5mm stainless steel bar connects the two
sieves. The thin diameter bar allows
the flexibility for thermal movement.
The PRP resin/resin tie can be used
in almost all building materials,
ie brick, lightweight block, timber frames
and even mortar.
The PRP resin/resin tie is not only
available in various lengths to deal with
varying cavities, but it is also possible
to vary the lengths
of the standard sizes on site.

Lateral Restraints
Description
Lateral restraints are manufactured from
304 Austenetic Stainless Steel rods 8mm
in diameter. These are supplied in standard
lengths of 1 metre but are available
in any length by prior arrangement.
The Lectros Lateral Restraint can
be fitted from outside the property with
a minimum of disturbance
- in most cases just a lifting of the floorboards
to determine the position of the joists.

Epoxy Resin &
Polyester Resin Systems
Description
Chemical anchors can be used in many applications
and have advantages over mechanical fixings.
The Lectros cartridge systems can be used
for the permanent fixing of wall ties, starter
and extension bars, machines, underwater
anchors/damp substrate, rail and crane tracks
etc.
|
|
The advantages of the Lectros cartridge
chemical anchorage are:
|
•
|
the optimum ratio of resin and activator
is dispensed by the cartridge
|
|
•
|
the patented nozzle ensures total
mixing
|
|
•
|
the cartridge system ensures that
personal contact with the resin is
minimised
|
|
•
|
very low wastage
|
|
•
|
it does not rely on expansion to
ensure a fixing and as a result can
be used both for fixings
in weaker substrates and with reduced
edge distances
|
|
•
|
the nature of the resin used allows
a degree of vibration
resistance in situations with
dynamic loads
|
|
•
|
metallic fixings encased in resin
have a high degree of corrosion
protection
|
|
•
|
can be used with black, zinc plated,
galvanised or stainless steel bolts
|
|
•
|
provides extremely high
pull-out loads
